Hayley and James got married in May at Kenwick Park Hotel – one of the best wedding venues in Louth. I have quite a few Kenwick Park Hotel wedding this year and I might start to feel like a resident – no bad thing though! I started the day in the bridal suite of the hotel where I was greeted by an excited Hayley as she was having the final touch ups of her make up applied. I also got meet her lovely best friend Claire who between them, immediately made me feel welcomed and completely at ease. From there it was a quick car ride to the beautiful lodges to catch up with James and “the boys” who included James’s two sons and father in law. James’s eldest son Harry, had the great honour of being the best man for the day and he looked as proud as punch. We were trying to second guess the wedding all day, especially the venue – they had the chairs outside ready and also a room set up inside on standby incase the heavens opened – which they didn’t and so we were all good to go. It was a lovely small intimate ceremony and a very emotional one too when their daughter tried to read a poem to the happy couple! I managed to get some lovely portraits of the two of them around the grounds and, as always, I was very grateful to both of them for their time and cooperation. Here are some highlights of my Kenwick Park Hotel wedding – it was a fantastic day.
