Laura and Andy got married at one of Lincolnshire’s best wedding venues – The Oaklands Hall Hotel.
I have shot many Oaklands Hotel weddings and it is a very popular choice for couples. Not only does it have TWO dedicated wedding reception rooms, but also has huge grounds with many potential wedding photography options. I took advantage of this for Laura and Andy’s wedding as you will see below and it’s a fantastic job to be a wedding photographer in Lincolnshire, as I’m so lucky to be able to work with fantastic couples and venues like this.
Laura chose Oaklands Hotel to get ready on the morning of her wedding – champagne and laughter in abundance.
The Oaklands Hotel was a perfect location for Laura and Andy to exchange marriage vows and the ceremony was not short of tears and joy!
Laura and Andy interacted freely with the guest at the reception and everyone seemed pleased and were enjoying themselves as the drinks kept coming.
Chasing each special moment is my mission as a wedding photographer and today was full of them. I always enjoy Autumn weddings – the red and orange hues provide the perfect back drop for beautiful wedding photography. It was a cloudy day for the most part, but clouds create the softest light, and that really helps create flattering photographs.
Once the wedding meal was finished it was time for the speeches to begin so everybody got ready for some lovely words from the father of the bride, the groom and the best man and you certainly learn a lot about the wedding party during the speeches.
Once the DJ began the evening entertainment the dance floor was full, it was the perfect end to a perfect day.
Laura and Andy certainly knew how to create a fantastic wedding day, and I wish them all the best for the future.
