Leyla and Matt contracted me to photograph their wedding ceremony that took place last spring. The venue they were married in was Branston Hall on the outskirts of Lincoln in Lincolnshire. This was not the first wedding I have shot at Branston Hall and it hopefully won’t be the last, you couldn’t ask for a more fantastic venue to get married at – massive grounds for stunning group shots, a huge field and lake behind the hotel to allow for beautiful bride and groom portraits!
Branston Hall was a perfect place to begin Leyla’s wedding photography. She began getting her hair and make up done, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story.
Family and friends present at Branston Hall witnessed Leyla and Matt exchange vows in an emotional ceremony. Being a Lincolnshire wedding photographer is a very satisfying job and it’s a huge honour to photograph a couples special day.
During the wedding reception we photographed some portraits and formal photographs. The atmosphere at the reception was perfect for entertaining the guests. All these memories will last a lifetime, that is why each wedding has its own story to tell.
I love photographing Spring weddings as the scenery can be spectacular. Cloudy skies stayed around for most of the day, helping create lovely soft light, which does actually make for better wedding photographs.
After a delicious wedding breakfast it was time to get ready for the speeches – another enjoyable part of the day as some of the best reactions are photographed whilst the speeches are being delivered.
Once the evening began, the cake was cut and the first dance completed, the guests had a great time dancing to the tunes. What a way to end the day.
Leyla and Matt created a fantastic Branston Hall Wedding and I felt buzzing by the time I left.
