Anna & Chris’ Wedding At Cleatham Hall
Cleatham Hall is a unique and delightful boutique hotel, restaurant & exclusive use venue for Weddings and private events, nestled in the beautiful North Lincolnshire countryside, so of course I was rather excited to be booked as Anna & Chris’ wedding photographer.
I started the day as I always do, with the bridal prep photos – enjoying the banter, laughs and tears of the bride and the bridesmaids. As a natural wedding photographer, I like to immerse myself in the “action” of the day to capture all the small moments that make every wedding unique.
An advantage of having a wedding at a beautiful country hotel is that the usually means the groom is around in the morning and therefore I can take photos of him and the groomsmen getting ready – something that isn’t usually possible due to logistics.
The wedding ceremony was quite touching because they had grandparents that couldnt attend, and so they put an ipad at the front of the room and live streamed the event so that they could watch.
Everything about this wedding was special, and the bride and groom had clearly planned it to perfection. I was also in love with the venue – yes it was raining, but rain never stops play right!? All we needed was an umbrella and some creativity and we got some stunning bride and groom wedding portraits.
I had the *best* day photographing Anna & Chris’ Cleatham Hall wedding, and I hope I get invited back as a Cleatham Hall wedding photographer again soon! 🙂
