It’s always great to be approached by a lovely couple to be their Laceby Manor Golf Club Wedding photographer – Stewart a great laid-back guy and Julia just full of smiles. This couldn’t have been more true on the day of the wedding. Stewart was very happy just let the day “happen” and Julia just smiled and smiled all the way through it.
It was an early (Well for me) start at Julia’s mum’s house for the bridal preparations where I was treated very well by Julia and her lovely two sisters – one of which made me a toasted tea cake for breakfast! Once I finished there, it was onto St Nicholas Church in Great Coates where I was greeted by the wonderful young lady vicar there who was very accommodating. Of course the ceremony was lovely with plenty of laughs.
From there it was onto the reception which was being held at Laceby Manor Golf Club, again, another venue to add to my itinerary. This day was full of first experiences for me as there was another one waiting for me at Laceby Manor: an ice cream van hosted by Betsy Bedford Vintage Van Company. A great idea!
After the meal and the speeches, we were joined my a caricature artist who had all the guests in giggles and applause, all in all a wonderful fun day.
