Jessica & Harry at the Oaklands Hall Hotel
A couple of weeks ago I had the great pleasure or being Jessica & Harry’s photographer for their Oaklands Hall Hotel Wedding.
I started the day at the Oaklands Hall Hotel – (which is one of the best wedding venues in the area to get married by the way – with huge lawns and grounds outside and a large function room inside) to meet up with Jess and her bridesmaids. I got the chance to take a few classic portraits of them in the grounds before I went on to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Waltham.
Because this was a Mormon ceremony, tradition has it that neither myself nor any of the guests were allowed to take any photographs inside the chapel, hence why there and none of the ceremony to view here! I got some lovely shots of them before and after though 🙂
From there it was back to the Oaklands for the formal groups shots and the reception and meal. It was very touching because Harry had asked his dad if he would be his best man! A first for me, but it makes sense as no-one really knows the groom better than his own dad!
I was there right up to the dancing and it was a lovely day. Congratulations Mrs & Mrs Whall!
