Kim and Matt got married at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa on what was a glorious autumn day. We were all very lucky with the weather, and the say even started with the sun shining! If you’ve never been to any Petwood Hotel weddings before, you are missing a treat! It is a fantastic venue plenty of grounds.
I arrived the Petwood Hotel to catch up with Kim and the girls getting ready in the morning. Kim is a professional hairdresser by trade and I even got to catch her doing her own hair, which was a first for me I think. After I had finished with the girls, I met up with Matt and his best man – who kept telling rude jokes to try and get Matt a bit more relaxed.
It was then time for the ceremony which had its fair share of tears from Kim, her mum, and the bridesmaids which all added to the emotion of the event. Weddings at the Petwood hotel are unique events as far as confetti is concerned, they’re about the only place I know where they insist it is thrown on the inside! It looks great though, as you can see below.
With this being an all day coverage wedding for me, I was treated to a lovely meal from the Petwood Hotel, this revived me ready to cover the speeches and the first dance.
