Claire and Richard got married at Nettleham Church and had their wedding reception at Charlotte House in Lincoln. I often work as a wedding photographer in Lincoln, but this was the first time I’d shot a Charlotte house wedding. I met up with Claire and Richard back in February for their pre-wedding shoot and could tell they were a pretty laid-back couple and their wedding day was going to be a breeze. I wasn’t wrong as it was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed myself.
I started the day at Claire’s parents house – just down the road from the church and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere as the bride and bridesmaid got their hair and makeup done.
The ceremony at Nettleham Church was lovely , the weather was completely on our side and it stayed that way all day! So much so that most of the guests were enjoying their reception drinks outside Charlotte House.
I got the chance to capture some beautiful wedding portraits at more than one location – you can see some below at the church and the little bridge outside the church, some wedding photography at Lincoln Castle, and also at Charlotte House itself – so a day full of opportunities.
The party and celebrations were well underway when I finished for the evening – I left a full dance floor which is always a good sign of a cracking band!
Congratulations Claire and Richard and all the best for the future! If you like what you see here, please do leave a comment at the bottom of this page – I would love to hear your thoughts.
