Emily and Andrew got married at The Oaklands Hotel back in October.  The Oaklands Hotel is a cracking wedding venue in Lincolnshire with TWO function rooms available and plenty of grounds to walk around in.  The staff there are always very helpful and super attentive also.

The day started for me at Emily’s lovely little flat in a beautiful old town house, which, as you can see from the photos below, holds a massive stair case!  The girls were excitedly getting ready an I enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere and capturing the excitement.

Once the car had arrived for the bridesmaids, I had to leave to make my way to Laceby church – a first for me and lovely it was too!  The very nice staff there allowed me to go upstairs to where the bell ringers are for a few photos in Laceby church from a different angle.  The ceremony great of course and everyone thoroughly enjoy it.

From there it was onto the reception for some wedding photos at The Oaklands hotel.  One thing I love about being a wedding photographer in Lincolnshire is that I get to see all the time and effort that the couples have put into all the little details such as room decorations.  The wedding room at the Oaklands had been decorated beautifully with shades of white, yellow and gold.

Once I’d quickly (because it was a bit cold) got the group shots out of the way, it was time to concentrate on the portraits of the happy couple. I talk them for a walk around the grounds for some intimate wedding photography at the Oaklands and it is a great place for it!  This gave Emily and Andrew some quiet time together and a chance to reflect on the day so fay.

I got fed, which made me happy, the speeches were great and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Here are a few of my favourite wedding photos at The Oaklands Hotel.
