Anna and Martin had their wonderful winter wedding at The Poacher’s Hotel in Lincolnshire. The Poacher’s Hotel is an ideal place for wedding photography as it boast plenty of rooms and space and also quirky nooks and crannies.
The snow had been pretty bad in the morning so I set off extra early to make sure I allowed myself plenty of time in case the roads were bad. They turned out to be OK which meant I was at the venue extra early! This was good for me because it meant I had a bit of extra time to photograph all the beautiful details that Anna had created for her special day, some of which you can see below.
Martin the groom was already at The Poacher’s Hotel so I caught up with him and grabbed a few shots of him before Anna arrived. I managed to capture a few moments of the bridal prep and of course her beautiful dress and amazing shoes!
The ceremony was lovely, Martin just about managing to contain his emotion at seeing his bride to be Anna walk up towards him. I think however, his sister blubbed through the whole thing.
Once the ceremony had finished I gathered the guests together for the group shots and then it was onto the bride and groom portraits for more wedding photography at The Poacher’s Hotel.
I finished just in time to allow the guests to be seated and listen to the speeches which of course were great.
It was a lovely a day and just a shame I didn’t get to stay right through to the end. They did however very kindly feed me – one happy photographer!
