Louth Wedding Photographer for Anna and Lee
Anna & Lee’s Louth wedding ceremony was held at St James’ Church (Lincolnshire’s best church bar none!) and they had their reception at Kenwick Park Hotel located just outside Louth in Lincolnshire. It was great to be back at my local stomping ground, as I know the place like the back of my hand and always get treated well by the staff.
It was a shorter day of wedding photography coverage for me today, so I started at the church in plenty of time to catch up with Lee and the best man and groomsmen whilst they eagerly awaited the arrival of Anna, the bride.
I adore photographing weddings at St James’ Church because there is just SO MUCH SPACE! The light today was beautiful and it shone down perfectly to light up the bride and groom as they exchanged vows.
After the ceremony, I gathered everyone outside the church for the confetti shots, and once complete, the guests made their was to Kenwick Park Hotel, whilst I kept Anna & Lee behind for some bridal and groom portraits.
Back at the hotel, Anna & Lee shared canapés and reception drinks whilst mingling with their guests and enjoying the sunshine. It was then time for the group shots and more bride and groom portraits. During the wedding portraits, I always make sure I spend time with the bride and groom walking and chatting around the grounds trying to capture them at their most relaxed and intimate.
The time had come for the reception to finish and the speeches to begin so the wedding party took their seats and waited patiently. Photographing the speeches is a challenging part of the day because it’s all about the words, so as wedding photographers we have to do our best to tell the story of the words with our pictures.
Once the evening got going the dance floor was a perfect place for the guests to end the day. You couldn’t wish for a more perfect day for Anna & Lee and I wish them all the best for the future.
