I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Amy and Ciaran’s wedding at the stunning Brackenborough Hall. Surprisingly, this was the first time I’d ever photographed a wedding here, which is a shame really – why aren’t there more weddings there! It’s the perfect venue!
The day started with bridal preparations in a gorgeous Airbnb house in Lincoln where the atmosphere was a mixture of excitement and nervousness, typical feelings for a wedding morning.
Once I’d got all the images I needed from the bridal preparations, I made my way to Greetwell Church. Greetwell Church is a quaint and beautiful little church on the outskirts of Lincoln, and the place was absolutely packed! I certainly was the perfect place for countryside church wedding photography.
Once the happy smiley church wedding ceremony had finished, and the guests had made their way to the reception, I had the chance to take some stunning wedding photography portraits of the newly weds, on the way to the reception. As a wedding phortography in Lincolnshire, I love to take advantage of the many fields we have in this county. For me there’s something special about making a wedding couple stand in a beautiful field.
When we arrived at Brackenborough Hall, I was stunned by how beautiful this Lincolnshire wedding venue was. An amazingly long drive surrounded by fields of grazing cows and sheep. I knew the road up to the venue would make fantastic wedding photos.
The teepees they had set up and decorated were incredible – the couple had obviously put a lot of thought into their teepee wdding reception. They had a “blessing” in a tent, when they got to the venue, to allow all the guests that couldn’t attend the church to take part in a ceremony.
There were games and activities throughout the afternoon and all the guests had such fun! After the meal and the speeches, they partied long into the night.
Congratulations Amy and Ciaran on your spectacular country wedding!
