Boston Wedding Photographer for Gemma & Ben
Gemma and Ben had got married at Boston West Golf Club, and as a Boston wedding photographer, this was a venue that I’d never photographed at before, so was very much looking forward to the experience.
Gemma and Ben were the most chill of couples – just great fun and a laugh from the start.
The day started with a very giggly and excited bride to be – Gemma, and I stayed with her capturing the atmosphere and waiting for her dad to arrive for the first look and to take her across the venue grounds in their lovely camper van.
Wedding ceremony at Boston West Golf Club
It was obvious that Gemma and Ben had put a lot of thought into what they wanted their wedding ceremony at Boston West Golf Club to look like3 and the colour scheme was very bright and summery. I really enjoyed their wedding ceremony because the amount of obvious love they have for each other – they just smiled from ear to ear for the entire duration.
Wedding photography in Boston
Like all the couples that book me, Gemma & Ben wanted me to be as unobtrusive as possible throughout the day – something which I pride myself on as a Lincolnshire wedding photographer. That being said, I still ensure (to my best ability), that I take time in the day to create some beautiful natural portraits of the happy couple – after all, it’s their day! The sun shone all day so I was very lucky! As you can see from the images below, the light shining through the long grasses is just magical, and the fact that they were very easy to work with made my day a dream!
The wedding reception and evening party
It was a gorgeous hot summer evening and after the wedding meal, the guests (quite understandably) spent most of the evening outside, until it was time to come in and watch the happy couple cut the cake and perform their first dance. It’s a shame I had to leave when I did, as I’m sure they partied hard into the night.
Thank you Gemma and Ben – it was a wonderful day and I hope I get to be a Boston Wedding Photographer again very soon.
