Lauren and Shaun got married at The Brackenborough Hotel in Louth earlier in May. The Brackenborough Hotel has had a brand new suite built with it’s own grounds and mini lake, making it a perfect location for wedding photography in Louth.
I started the day at Lauren’s parents house for the bridal preparations with the excellent make up artist. Whilst I was there, I got a nice treat of Lauren’s dad playing some of his Northern Soul vinyl (remember that?) that had just been delivered with the postman!
From there, it was onwards for the wedding photography at the Brackenborough to catch up with Shaun and his best men, and also, to get back with the girls again in one of the rooms in the hotel whilst Lauren got into her dress.
The ceremony was held in the new room on the hotel and had been decked out beautifully with a black & white theme. Then, I was racing against the weather for the group shots outside – I could see a huge rain cloud approaching behind my group of guests and we just finished them in time.
The weather decided to behave for the rest of the day and I managed to get some lovely bride and groom portraits around the grounds.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Chapman, it was a cracking day and all the best for the future!
