Sam and Ian got married at Branson Hall, a beautiful Lincoln wedding venue, and one I hope to visit again as a Lincoln wedding photographer.
The day started with me meeting up with Sam and the girls in the bridal suite of the hotel, with its impressively large bay window over looking the hotel grounds. They were all in good spirits and some of them had been ready for ages!
Once I’d found out Ian had arrived, I popped downstairs to catch up with him and the boys to capture a few photos of them together – Ian seemed decidedly nervous so a quick pint of dutch courage was in order for him after I had the shots I needed!
It was a lovely sunny day so Ian and the rest of the guests made their way outside for the ceremony which was held in a quaint little gazebo. I saw Ian was welling up as Sam walked down the aisle to meet him and managed to capture it – have a look below.
Branson Hall has plenty of room outside for group shots which made these nice and easy for me, there is also a lake with a cracking view of hotel a short walk away, so I took Sam and Ian down there for a few more wedding photos at Branston Hall.
Everyone enjoyed the speeches and the meal (where I too got fed very well so I was happy!) and the guests all seemed to happily mingle afterwards whilst waiting for the evening do to start. There was a really nice happy atmosphere to this wedding and I enjoyed just taking it all in.
They did very well with their first dance and I finished my day leaving a busy dance floor. Congratulations to your both – your wedding was a lot of fun and I wish you all the best for the future.
