I don’t normally find myself in Hertforshire as a wedding photographer, but when my wife’s good friend Claire asked me, how could I refuse? I got the best of both worlds – being a guest and the official photographer too.
Claire and Nick got married in the beautiful Hanbury Manor Hotel – a stunning Hertforshire wedding venue. The place is massive with plenty of antique and unique features both inside and out, which is a good job as the weather was not playing ball at all! It rained nearly all day…
I met up with Claire in the bridal suite, getting her hair and make up done and as always, she was very chilled out. She is one of the most laid back people I know! I spent a couple of hours with her before I went to quickly catch up with the groom, Nick and his brother, the best man, who both seemed to be in good spirits.
The ceremony itself was in Poles Hall which is a beautiful room – you can see for yourself in the photos below.
The weather cleared up a bit in time for me to get everyone outside for the group shots, and I took Claire and Nick around the Manor for their portraits.
All in all, it was a cracking day full of lovely people and a very relaxed and happy atmosphere. There was laughter, a few tears and plenty of champagne and dancing.
Congratulations you two – what a great day to spend with such lovely people!
Enough from me, just sit back and enjoy their Hanbury Manor wedding photos. Please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom.
