Helen and Matt got married at St Peter’s Church in Cleethorpes and had their reception and the wonderful wedding venue Healing Manor.
The day started at Helen’s parents house for the bridal preparations and I was greeted by someone who looked like Helen but wasn’t Helen, but her twin sister! Once the confusion was out of the way I was able to document the lovely atmosphere at the house and the final preparations.
I arrived at the church to be greeted by Matt and his best men and ushers all decorating the church as there had been a wedding previously and so they were busy replacing the flowers and the ribbons – it was great to see.
The ceremony was a lovely affair with much laughter and plenty of tears, particularly from the groom’s mum! We all went outside for the confetti shots and then everyone was very keen to wait and see the newly weds off in the car.
This was my first time as a Healing Manor wedding photographer and so was very happy to be a part of their day and was looking forward to exploring the beautiful grounds. If you are looking for a Lincolnshire Wedding venue then you certainly couldn’t go wrong with Healing Manor. They fed me well too which of course always makes me happy!
I gathered everyone outside for the group shots then had some time to spare to walk Matt and Helen round the grounds of the manor for some beautiful portraits and they were both very obliging so thank you for that!
The room had been decorated beautifully and it was all topped off with some cracking speeches and a very touching slideshow from Matt’s brothers.
The day ended of course, with the dancing and everyone was having a really good time.
Even though this was my first experience of a wedding at Healing Manor, it certainly won’t be my last, it was a brilliant day. All the bests for the future Mr & Mrs Jeyes!
