Back at the end of April, I had the very great pleasure of being Lizzie and Henry’s wedding photographer, for their tipi wedding in Lincolnshire. This was the first tipi wedding that I had shot in quite a while and I knew how much fun they can be so was really looking forward to it.
The day started for me with meeting up with Lizzie and the girls for the bridal preparations; a part of the day that has become standard fare for a typical wedding photographer. If a wedding photographer is not offering bridal preparations as part of their standard coverage, you need to be asking yourself why not?
The girls we all really excited to be part of Lizzie and Henry’s big day and it was great to be a part of that atmosphere.
The ceremony took place at the quaint yet beautiful church in Horncastle where Lizzie and her mum arrived in a fantastic red vintage car (don’t ask me what it was!)
The tipi wedding reception totally lived up to my expectations, it was in the middle of a field at Henry’s parents’ farm. A superb and unique location for a wedding in the Lincolnshire countryside.
You see from the photos below what wonderful locations and opportunities I had to take some stunning shots.
They ate and drank and danced the night away – it was a great day.
If you are thinking of having wedding in a tipi, I would love to be a part of your day! So please do get in touch.
