Brackenborough Hotel Wedding Photographer for Rebecca & Jason
As a Louth wedding photographer, I was happy to be telling the visual story of Rebecca and Jason’s wedding day at the picturesque Brackenborough Hotel. Nestled in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds, this charming venue provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments and is a wedding venue I am very familiar with.
The Bridal Preparations
The day began with the quiet hum of anticipation in the air as Rebecca prepared to step into her wedding gown. The soft natural light streaming through the windows of the hotel suite highlighted every detail of the intricate lace and delicate embroidery of her dress. I make sure I’m around involved in the action for the bridal prep photos, capturing, candid shots of all the laughter, nerves, and tender moments shared between the bride and her bridesmaids, creating a beautiful narrative of the hours leading up to the ceremony.
Because the hotel rooms are just a stone’s throw from the wedding ceremony venue, I was able to nip across and capture a few shots of Jason and his groomsmen easing his nerves with a couple of beers!
The Ceremony
The Brackenborough Hotel’s purpose built ceremony room is the ideal location for a local wedding ceremony and the prefect place to capture the emotional glances, joyous tears, and heartfelt exchanges between Rebecca and Jason which promised a lifetime of love and companionship.
Following the ceremony, I took the opportunity (as I do with every wedding,) to give the bride and groom some time to mingle with the guests that they probably haven’t even had the chance to say hello to yet! Rain wasn’t playing ball today so I decided to take the group shots indoors (never ideal but as an experienced wedding photography you have to work with what you’ve got).
After the group shots, the bride and groom had a lovely surprise for the guests- a gender reveal! And as you can see, IT’S A BOY!
Bride and Groom Portraits
Once the excitement had died down a bit, I took the bride and groom away for some time explore the hotel’s stunning surroundings for portraits of the newlyweds. From the romantic pathways to the charming bridges, each shot capturing the love shared between Rebecca and Jason against the backdrop of the idyllic Lincolnshire landscape.
This was a shorter day coverage from me so once the bride and groom was called into the reception room for the wedding breakfast, my day was complete but that does not mean it wasn’t still special.
