A couple of weeks ago I had the great pleasure of being the Reeds Country Hotel wedding photographer for Tracey and Ed. Tracey and Ed are a lovely, down to Earth couple and I knew their wedding would be a great to shoot.
The hotel is situated right on the banks of the River Humber, with the always impressive Humber Bridge as a backdrop – you can see a couple of shots in the gallery below.
I started the day, as always, at the bride’s house for the preparations with a house full of women and her dad where I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the morning. It was then on to the Reeds Country Hotel to meet Ed and prepare for the arrival of Tracey. The ceremony was held in a room with an impressive view of lake at the back. The tears from Ed’s mum and sister helped add to the emotion of the touching ceremony.
Then it was back outside for the formals and then it was onto the main hall (with stunning chandaliers) for a delicious three course meal.
My day ended with a very impressive set piece dance from Tracey and Ed and then the throwing of the bouquet.
