The Priory Hotel is my favourite Louth Wedding venue. As a Lincolnshire wedding photographer it was a great privilege to shoot the wedding of my friend Emmi and her fiance Andy’s wedding at South Elkington Church and The Priory Hotel Louth.
I was there to document the very calm bridal preparations at Emmi’s parents house and to my surprise, only one set of tears which were supplied by the mother of the bride!
As a nice twist, the bridal party travelled to the ceremony at South Elkington Church in tractors! Yes tractors. These were very kindly provided by Andy’s brother in law and were immaculate. Once the lovely service had finished, it was on to the reception at The Priory Hotel. The Hotel is a popular wedding venue in Louth and the chef certainly did not disappoint. They were served a seven course tasting menu which lasted three hours! Then, when the dining room was turned over, the other smaller rooms because a cheese room and a pudding room. Just superb.
Emmi of course looked stunning and Andy looked dapper and of course very proud. The speeches from all three parties were brilliant, a fantastic day.
