…It really was a magical day and the photos are lovely! Thank you once again Aidan!
– Tracey & David
Tracey and David got married at Harmston Church and had their reception at the wonderful Washingborough Hall. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue in Lincoln, then Washingborough Hall could be the one for you. The way the rooms are laid out is perfect for a wedding venue. The staff are attentive and polite and the food is excellent.
The day started a little differently for me as the couple requested that I turn up at the Tempest Pub in a small Lincolnshire village called Coleby. This was great and made a nice change! I got to photograph the wedding guests socialising and enjoying a few pre-wedding sandwiches and drinks.
Then it was onto the ceremony at the church which was a lovely affair with lots of happiness and laughter, and it was clear to see from the onlooking guests, how genuinely happy they all were for this couple.
From there it was the short drive to Washingborough Hall for the wedding reception. The weather was on our side which meant the guests could mingle outside whilst I completed the group shots.
The food was cracking and the speeches were very well received, the highlight being a banner of David as a little kid in a vampire costume – the whole exploded with laughter.
The biggest surprise however, was yet to come. Anyone remember Stavros Flatley of Britain’s Got Talent fame? Well it turns out the groom’s brother and best man had booked him to perform at the reception party as a surprise. He was highly entertaining and the couple *loved* it! Look through the photos below to see if you recognise him.
I left after he had finished his little performance and I’m sure they all partied hard into the night. Congratulations Tracey and David!
