Chantelle and Peter had their lovely intimate wedding at The Brackenborough Hotel in Louth on a gloriously hot July day. This was just a short day for me coverage wise but didn’t mean it was any less lovely! Brackenborough Hotel weddings are very well run affairs and today was no exception.
I started the day with a bit of time to spare before the ceremony started, so after I’d grabbed a few shots of Peter and his best man (who just couldn’t stop being silly – which was great because he made Peter laugh), I caught up with Chantelle for a few minutes of her getting ready. I managed to capture a lovely intimate moment between her and her father before he walked her down the aisle – great stuff!
Of course there were tears and from both the bride and the groom especially because they had their daughters as flower girls and as you can expect, they were both extremely proud of them.
Once the ceremony had finished, I gave the guests a chance to mingle and congratulate the bride and groom before I set them up for the formal group shots. Once they were complete, as normal, as I always make sure I have time for with every wedding, I take the bride and groom away for some beautiful portraits of the happy couple together. The large grounds and lovely quiet road outside the means that there are plenty of opportunities for nicewedding photography at The Brackenborough Hotel.
It was then time for the speeches. First Chantelle’s father gave a short but very sweet toast to the bride and groom; second, Peter, said some adorable words about his wife; and finally, it was time for the best man, who, by this time, was very very drunk! Enough said really 🙂 It was all great stuff.
Congratulations Chantelle and Peter I had a fantastic time being a part of your wedding at the Brackenborough Hotel. All the best for the future.
